1. Our Services

High-Tech Security provides low-voltage and security-related services, which may include, but are not limited to:

  • CCTV and security camera installation
  • Security camera maintenance and repair
  • Surveillance system upgrades
  • Low-voltage wiring and installation
  • Network and cabling services
  • Access control and related systems
  • Troubleshooting and service calls
  • Other related low-voltage and security services

Specific services provided will depend on the customer’s needs and the scope of work agreed upon between the customer and the Company.

2. Estimates and Proposals

Any estimates, quotes, or proposals provided by the Company are based on the information available at the time they are prepared.

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

  • Estimates are not guarantees of the final cost.
  • Additional work, materials, labor, or unforeseen conditions may result in additional charges.
  • Changes to the requested scope of work may require a revised estimate or written approval.
  • An estimate or proposal does not constitute a completed service agreement until accepted by the customer and confirmed by the Company.

Where applicable, the Company may require a deposit or other payment before beginning work.

3. Scheduling and Service Appointments

Service appointments are scheduled based on technician availability and the information provided by the customer.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate contact information.
  • Providing reasonable access to the property or areas where services will be performed.
  • Ensuring that any required property-owner, landlord, tenant, or other authorization has been obtained.
  • Informing the Company of relevant site conditions or access requirements.

Appointment times may occasionally be affected by traffic, emergencies, prior service calls, weather, equipment availability, or other circumstances outside of the Company’s reasonable control.

If a customer needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment, they should contact the Company as soon as possible.

4. Customer-Requested Changes

Changes to the scope of work after an estimate or proposal has been accepted may result in additional labor, materials, equipment, or other charges.

The Company will communicate material changes to the customer when reasonably practicable.

5. Equipment and Materials

Equipment and materials may be supplied by the Company or, where agreed upon, provided by the customer.

Equipment availability may vary based on manufacturer inventory and supply.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, manufacturer warranties applicable to purchased equipment are separate from the Company’s labor or service warranty.

The Company does not guarantee that third-party equipment will remain compatible with future software, firmware, network, operating-system, or manufacturer changes.

6. Customer-Provided Equipment

When customers provide their own equipment or materials, the Company may inspect the equipment to determine whether it is reasonably suitable for installation or service.

The Company is not responsible for defects, incompatibility, prior damage, manufacturer limitations, discontinued products, or other problems associated with customer-provided equipment.

If customer-provided equipment prevents or delays completion of the requested work, additional service charges may apply where permitted and agreed upon.

7. Network and Internet Services

Certain security and surveillance systems may require an internet connection, local network, Wi-Fi, cellular service, cloud subscription, or other third-party service.

The Company may assist with the installation or configuration of compatible systems but does not control third-party internet service providers, cloud platforms, cellular networks, or manufacturer services.

The Company cannot guarantee uninterrupted connectivity or availability of third-party services.

Customers are responsible for maintaining any required internet, network, cloud, cellular, or subscription services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Security and Surveillance Systems

Security cameras, access control systems, alarms, and other security-related equipment are intended to assist with monitoring, documentation, and security.

No security system can guarantee the prevention or detection of every theft, intrusion, vandalism, property loss, or other incident.

The Company does not guarantee that a security or surveillance system will prevent criminal activity or eliminate security risks.

Customers are responsible for determining the appropriate placement and use of security equipment for their property and circumstances.

Customers are also responsible for complying with applicable laws and regulations regarding surveillance, recording, audio capture, privacy, and notification requirements.

9. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to provide accurate information necessary for the Company to perform requested services.

Customers are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions, licenses, approvals, or authorizations required for work at a property.

Customers must notify the Company of known hazards, restricted areas, special access requirements, or other conditions that could affect the performance of services.

10. Payments and Invoices

Customers agree to pay invoices according to the payment terms provided by the Company.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, payment is due according to the terms stated on the applicable invoice or proposal.

The Company may suspend or delay services when an account is past due, subject to applicable law and the terms of the customer’s agreement.

Additional charges may apply for approved work outside the original scope of work.

11. Warranties

Any warranty provided by the Company will be described in the applicable proposal, invoice, service agreement, or other written documentation.

Manufacturer warranties may apply separately to equipment.

Except where expressly stated in writing or required by applicable law, the Company does not provide warranties beyond those specifically agreed upon.
